Important Steps and Responsibilities Before the Movers Arrive
Preparing for a move can be overwhelming, but knowing what to expect can make all the difference. Follow these key steps to ensure everything is ready when our team arrives, so we can make your move as smooth as possible.

Packing
Ensure all items are properly packed and labeled before the movers arrive, unless packing services have been arranged with the moving company.

Communication
Please review your confirmation email to ensure clear understanding of our charges. Provide accurate and clear directions to both your current location and your new destination to facilitate smooth transportation.

Accessibility
Ensure that both the current and new locations are accessible to the moving truck. This includes clearing pathways, driveways, and ensuring parking availability. If your driveway has been recently paved it is your responsibility to inform our team to ensure we do not park in the freshly paved driveway.

Valuables
Transport valuable items such as jewelry, important documents, and small electronics personally, rather than packing them with the moving company's belongings.

Pets and Plants
Make arrangements for the transportation of pets and plants, as many moving companies do not handle living organisms.

Supervision
Be present or have a representative present during the packing, loading, and unloading processes to answer questions and provide guidance as needed.

Utilities
Arrange for disconnection of utilities at your old home and connection at your new one on the appropriate dates to avoid disruptions.

Special Instructions
